FEATURING:

Mona Lisa Stasilli:: Vocals and Percussion

Mona Lisa
Mona Lisa

Mona Lisa has enjoyed singing since she was a child in Herkimer NY, and was influenced by her late father, Roger C. Stasilli, who passed on to her the love of music.  Her mother gave her a guitar for her 13th birthday and Mona Lisa began to blossom as a singer.  She played and sang solo in coffee houses at college in Brockport NY and sang lead vocals for a group in upstate NY at the age of 18.  Along with her family, she moved out west in 1977.  In California, Mona sang in various groups, from Top 40 to Country to Folk music and even sang in a Spanish music trio.  Mona Lisa has performed in restaurants in California;  San Miguel, GTO Mexico, sang with Mariachi and even Nashville, TN.  She moved back to upstate NY, and became part of a trio called “Roger and Me and Sometimes She”.  Mona put together a duo with her daughter, Vanessa Torres, calling themselves “Steel Street Rose”, and they have performed in local coffee houses in the Capital Region area. She has written and performed many original songs.  Mona Lisa hosts a Sing-along Program at the Town of Ballston Community Library called “Sing-along with Miss Mona” since 2007.  She was lead vocalist for a local wedding band and is now currently singing with GrooveCo, performing with other very talented musicians.

Gary Siegel :: Guitar and Vocals

Gary
Gary

Ever since his elementary school violin teacher told him he had no talent, Gary knew he was destined to play music.  This Albany home-boy has toured the East Coast from Florida to Montreal.   His bands have opened up for the Box Tops and the Soul Survivors.  Gary's also played with many popular local Capital District bands, the latest one being TheKixBand, specializing in parties and weddings.  Most of all he likes to see people dancing and having a good time.

Steve Klein :: Guitar and Vocals

Steve
Steve

Steve started his music career in New York City playing guitar in many of the better known basements in the area.  When he got tired of the scene in NYC, Steve moved up to the Capital District, only to discover that the basements were the same upstate (cold and damp).  So, several years ago Steve took the big step and went above ground.  Ever since then he's played with bands throughout the area applying his blues, funk, and rock influences to create music that makes people want to party.

Stu Miller :: Drums and Vocals

Stu

Stu's a versatile drummer who learned his craft from a music teacher at the Conservatory School of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio and lead percussionist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.  Affiliations include national tours with The Drifters, The Moonbeams Dance Band, theKixBand, and Trilogy.
